I was raised here in Sonoma County -- went to grammar school in Graton, and for high school went to Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa.
When did you discover your calling?
When I graduated from my graduate program in Public Health and Social Welfare, I knew that I wanted to contribute to my community in a different way, and had always appreciated and admired the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their manifestations, good works, and consciousness raising. I was out and about in January 2004 during the Polar Bear Weekend and ran into Sister Barbi and Sister Nova who both convinced me I should check out the order.
Big Sisters/Mother in the order?
My big sisters were Sister Dawna Matrix and Sister Sparkle Plenty. My mother is Sister Sparkle Plenty.
Religious beliefs (if any)?
I'm an agnostic who believes in the power of human connection and community, in the healing power of the earth, the transcendent nature of the human spirit, and the divinity that lives within all living things.
Goals and aspirations?
To be healthy and strong until I drop dead suddenly at a ripe old age.
To love and be loved.
To wear heels for an entire evening without injuring myself.
