Russian River Sisters Aid Monte Rio
Bombing Victim
Sisters seek
donations for hate crime victim
June 15, 2004 -- Guerneville,
CA. The Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have begun a series
of fundraisers to aid Parvoneh Leval, the Monte Rio woman who was seriously
injured when she touched a gift wrapped bomb left on her car the morning of June
10.
"I am outraged that such an act of violence should strike someone in our
community." said Sr. Barbi Mitzvah, president of the RR Sisters. "We began
immediate fundraising efforts for Ms. Leval and her family. They are going to
need a lot of support. We raised $725 with special auctions at our monthly Bingo
game last Saturday. We have plans for more special fundraisers in the making."
Sr. Barbi continued. "Anybody interested in making a donation for these special
fundraisers may do so by going to our website
www.rrsisters.org. There is a special donation button solely for this
purpose, and all donations are 100% tax deductible."
The Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a 100% volunteer driven 501
(c)3 non profit organization made up of men and women, gay, straight and
