Jocks Take It Off for Sisters

Gay Softball League lends a hand and their jockstraps for charity

July 26,, 2003 --Guerneville, CA  The Sisters took to the streets, er the Poolside to raise funds with for Aids Emergency Fund of Sonoma County while the Gay Softball League was in the Russian River on a tournament. The "jock strap auction" was the brainchild of Sister Barbi Mitzvah, who along with Sister Sparkle Plenty signed up approximately 20 players from the gay softball finals going on nearby.

Sisters Barbi Mitzvah and Sister Dawna Matrix were the auctioneers, which lead to raising over $1200 for the local charity. Each ballplayer modeled a T-shirt or jock strap and which was auctioned off in a progressive auction manner. After the jock was "sold off" people were able to buy the chance to "dress" the model in whipping cream including cherries. Sisters Ida Claire and Carmelita cheesecake roamed the crowd and collected the funds that were bid by their respective bidders.
