Russian River Sisters Welcome Four New
Members
The Order
Continues to Grow!

--Guerneville, CA On Thursday, Feb 13, the Russian River Sisters of
Perpetual Indulgence formally veiled four new members as Novices in the Order.
In a beautifully simple ceremony of candlelit magic, our new Novices joined the
world-wide family of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. After taking their
vows, the four new Novices shared a communal meal of animal crackers and cherry
Kool-Aid. Our new members are Sister Ida Claire, Sister Nova Nilla, Sister
Carmelita Cheesecake and Father WinsTons Chesterfiel. We are extremely proud of
our new members, they have worked very hard and diligently with the Sisters in
their outreach within the Russian River Community. They also bring more
diversity and wonderful individual skills to the group.
Sister Ida Claire, is very active in the leather community as a title holder and
member of Mama's family. A native of Florida, Ida brings a good old southern
style warmth and sense of humor with him. Sister Nova Nilla, a handsome, blue
eyed bear, brings valuable organizational skills and civic mindedness to the
group. As an active member of the Gay Men's Chorus, Nova adds a golden voice to
our outreach. Sister Carmelita Cheesecake has proven herself, along with her
partner Father WinsTons Chesterfield as raffle ticket selling champions. These
two wonderful ladies bring a women's unique contribution, providing valuable
input to our group and community service. They are also active in the leather
community, holding titles in the Bay Area Leather Community. Gifted singers,
they share their voices with fellow worshippers at the Guerneville MCC.
Membership in the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is open to all,
regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or religious beliefs. What
matters is the willingness to reach out and serve others, to do it willingly
from the heart. The Sisters is not a religious order, but we do take vows of
community service, and we take them very seriously.

that I will forever uphold the love and spirit
of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
I will dedicate myself to the promulgation of universal joy
and the expiation of stigmatic guilt.
I will be considerate of how my words and actions affect others.
I will strive diligently to keep a sense of humor,
and to never take myself so seriously
that I forget to have fun.
