Sister Chastity Boner's XX birthday at Club FAB. Due to stringent
legal operations, this webmaster is not allowed to disclose her true
birthday for fear of her Sister!

29, 2001 - Sister Sparkle Plenty was on hand to deliver a feather
raising performance at FAB.

15, 2001 - Sisters Sparkle, Barbi & Minnie attended the Club
FABulous event which was a fundraiser for the Guerneville schools.
Food, wine auctions (yes the sisters were in on the bidding), live
entertainment and more were at this grand event.
Christmas Parade of Lights - Downtown Guerneville
December
8, 2001 - Through downtown Guerneville delighted viewers with a
glittering spectacle of beautifully decorated floats. This parade
showcased the community's diversity with every conceivable vehicle
from horses to fire trucks, all gaily decorated with huge amounts of
lights and imagination. The parade was brought to a show stopping
finale as Sister Chastity Boner and Sparkle Plenty rode by on a float
produced by ClubFAB.
Celebrity Bartending at The Pink Elephant
December
7, 2001 - It's a Bomb! Variety Show and Celebrity Bartending at
the famous Pink Elephant in Monte Rio. Thanks to Greg and Victoria
for the invitation. We raised money through bartending, raffles and
turkey bowling! SF Sisters Gina, Rox, Saki, Penny & Constance joined
us for the event. Thanks! Proceeds went to our Sisters Grant Fund for
Music for Schools programs in Guerneville & Monte Rio, Aids Emergency
Fund, Women's Breast Cancer fund and more. Over $467.00 was raised!

Divas at Club Fab
November
17, 2001 - Sister Sparkle Plenty was invited to reappear at
ClubFAB stripping down to "Bare Essentials" . As a token of the
Sister's esteem, Drag show producer and headliner, Snatch, was
presented with a much admired rhinestone "Queen" pin. Sparkle was then
spirited away to the RR Eagle where a fundraiser for heart bypass
patient Glenn Dixon was underway. Local philanthropist T Jay Caine
offered to pay $4 for every quarter pitched across the room into a
wash tub. Sparkle cashed in her tips from FAB and broke the bank by
sinking 24 quarters.

Beer Bust at the Rainbow Cattle Company
November
10, 2001 - Fund-raiser for Face to Face. This extremely popular
fund raiser was produced by Guards Trouser Mouse and Father Diesel as
their joint novice project. Diesel did an excellent job organizing the
event, while Trouser Mouse wowed the guests with barbecue beyond
belief !! A hefty $250 was raised for Face to Face !!

Weekend at the River (Eagle & Rainbow Cattle Co.)

9 & 10, 2001 - RR Sisters sold "graffitti bricks" at the Russian
River Eagle as a fund raiser for AEFSC. Jake, the owner, painted the
walls to resemble bricks, selling the graffiti rights to each "brick"
for $5. Guards Trouser Mouse , Father Diesel and Russell did boot
black services, making boots, chaps and crotches shiny brite!!

Theater Drag King/Queen Contest on Halloween
October
31, 2001 - Drag at it's finest. RR Sister Barbi Mitzvah MC'd
capacity crowd gathered to enjoy Annual Amateur Drag Contest and
viewing of the movie "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". Besides the
prestige of being crowned Monte Rio Amateur Drag King and Queen,
winners won priceless royal tiaras, crowns and scepters, plus other
valuable prizes donated by local merchants.
Halloween at the River
October
27, 2001 - Sisters made guest appearances at RRR, Eagle Rainbow CC
and Club FAB. Russian River Sisters were delighted to welcome The
Guerilla Queer Bar Folks to Guerneville. Never has this town seen more
fabulously costumed visitors. The Sisters were joined by Space Aliens,
Renaissance dancers and jesters, and assorted characters of every
sexual, historical, political, theatrical and royal persuasion making
a parade through town that had to be seen to be believed!! We even
made it to Monte Rio to the Highland Dell's Halloween Party which
featured fire eaters, a circus atmosphere and of course the lovely
Janis, (our favorite bartendtress)!

of Love Fundraiser for RCH in San Francisco

21, 2001 - We joined the SF Sisters at the Recreational Center for
the Handicapped in the Sunset District for an incredible fundraiser,
art show and performances by Musicians, Dancers and Performance
Artists! It was a great event to work at and the funds raised were
for the Arts program at the school.
Halloween Benefit at Pulse Event (Club Fab)

20, 2001 - The Sisters were on hand to help out with this
fundraiser for Face to Face at Club Fab in downtown Guerneville.

Sexuality Class
October
17, 2001 - RR Sisters joined SF Sisters in attending and speaking
at a sexuality class at San Francisco State University. It was a
learning experience for all.
OktoberFest Celebration at Fife's Resort

13, 2001 - The Sisters along with Fife's Resort and the Russian
River Chamber of Commerce sponsored the First Annual OktoberFest as a
way to introduce the River's diverse cultures to each other. Pictures
to come!
Monte
Rio Firefighters Benefit for FD New York
October
12, 2001 - We were on hand to watch the Monte Rio Fireman
celebrity bartend in their sexy tight wrangler jeans at Monte Rio's
Highland Dell.
The event raised money for the families of the New York City Fire
Department that were injured and killed in the WTC attack.

Reception for Michael Clark of Fife's

10, 2001 - This was a welcome reception put together by local
business giant Ken Hopkins and Dr. David to welcome Michael as the new
owner of Fife's.
The Sisters had to be on hand for the fabulous party as Michael is a
wonderful supporter of the Sisters. Way to go Ken and Dr. David for
such as great party.

7, 2001 - We took to the streets for the second week in a row in
San Francisco with SF Sisters, Dana and Donatella to promote the
OctoberFest Celebration the following week at the River. Sparkle
outdid herself with a grand new look and Sister Chastity discovered
the joys of Dalmatian boots!

30, 2001 - We worked the streets, er the gates that is. Don't
want to give you the wrong impression! The Sisters had a blast
helping out the Mother Order in San Francisco with the massive leather
street fair. Sister Chastity introduced her alter-ego, Sister Sally
Phane and a stunning designer dress, (designed and wrapped by her
Mother Mary Margaret X and Sister Barbi Mitzvah!) Does anyone have a

29, 2001 - All of us attended the National Conclave Dinner held at
Sister Donatella's in San Francisco. It was a great opportunity to
share food, stories and Sistory.

in San Francisco for the two and half mile march from the
Castro to South of Market. This is a fundraiser for AIDS Emergency
Fund and the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.

22, 2001 - This was a Virgin drag contest and taking first timers
and putting them into drag. It was like turning a truck driver into
Judy Garland. The Sisters were on hand to lend a hand and were
celebrity judges for the event which raised over $1600 for the AIDS
Emergency Fund in Sonoma County.

22, 2001 - The Sisters were on hand for the Sonoma County Hate
Stops Here event which included speakers and live music at the
Waterline Beach. Later on in the evening was the candlelight march
through downtown Guerneville. The Event was sponsored by Ellen of the
Eagle. Good job honey!

from Miramar productions about a diamond heist from San Francisco to

Senior Sister Mary Margaret X-plosion was a guest judge at the costume
contest and our own Sister Barbi Mitzvah was Mistress of Ceremonies
for the event.
